This piece is the insignia of the Jaeger Corps. A special forces unit of the Danish armed forces. The primary emblem is a hunter’s bugle. The bugle is a traditional symbol associated with hunters, reflecting the unit’s name and its function as an elite force trained for special operations.
I was asked to create this relief some time ago for a company in Copenhagen that specializes in laser engraving.
The company let me know they were happy for me to use the project for marketing.
